Today was Anana and her cub’s debut at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium! The day started off with a gender reveal for all three cubs. Aurora’s twins are a boy and girl and they will make their first public appearance starting at 9 a.m. on April 19! Check out the highlights from this ‘beary’ special day and don’t forget to help us Name The Cub, presented by Kroger. Visit ColumbusZoo.org/NameTheCub to pick your favorite name through May 2. While you will help us determine the name for Anana’s cub, Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and The Wilds staff are naming the twins through one of the many employee initiatives raising funds for conservation. We will announce the names of all three cubs on Mother’s Day, May 14.

Aurora and her cubs made their debut at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium today! Check out the highlights from this ‘beary’ special day for this little boy and girl. Aurora’s twins and Anana’s cub are ambassadors for their cousins in the Arctic. The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is dedicated to conserving polar bear populations in their native range. Since 2008, the Zoo has contributed more than $250,000 to research benefiting polar bears in the tundra. The Zoo is also designated as an Arctic Ambassador Center by Polar Bears International. The names for the twins will be selected by Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and The Wilds staff through one of the many employee initiatives raising funds for conservation. However, we need your help to determine the name for Anana’s cub! You can cast your vote online daily at ColumbusZoo.org/NameTheCub, presented by Kroger, through May 2. We will announce the names of all three cubs on Mother’s Day, May 14.
