Na, mal abgesehen von der Tatsache, das nicht Flocke den Raspi mitnimmt,sondern Raspi Flocke als Partnerin mit nach Antibes nimmt, der Autor auch nicht so ganz sattelfest in Französisch ist, denn es muß "plage" heißen und nicht "plague"
ist der Artikel ganz nett.
Und auf die Fotos warte ich auch.

ich bin auch schon ganz nervös und freue mich auf die ersten bilder der beiden und natürlich von dem
tollen großzügige gehege wenn man das als franzose so sagen darf.

Have just seen a news item from Marineland in Antibes about the
opening ceremony which says that Flocke now has a French name
Flocon.
A couple of days ago Seehund Puma and co on ARD German TV
showed Victoria being given a treat of fish dipped in Mayonnaise
for allowing the keeper to see her stand upright by the bars. This
is to allow her to be examined without tranking her I think.
The Russian Navy has just rescued the crew of a Russian tanker
kidnapped by pirates. I hope Marineland treat Raspi and Flocon right
as the Mediterranean is a perfect escape route for his private yacht!
Willi looks a fine bear, so I raise a glass to him..
The politicians are still muttering about this election thingy, but as I
have tried to explain to them, there are enough Polar Bears in Europe
for them all to volunteer for feeding duties (I have not quite explained
the exact nature of these duties, but hey when did a politician last tell
us what they were up to).
A German magazine has reported that Knut will move in with Katyuscha
and Nancy and that Tosca will join Trolle and Aika. They reckon Iogi and
Giovanna are still due to move back to Munich in August. I am still not sure
that Giovanna will hit it off with Iogi. One Zoo keeper (I cannot name in the blog
but is a well-informed source) reckons that it would be like putting a 10 year old
girl in with a 35 year old man, and thinks that Giovanna needs to grow a bit like
Knut. My preferred solution would be to move all three ladies to the Tierpark to
join Aika and Troll. This would certainly please Troll, but would also give Aika
some company. Knut and Giovanna could then start a new bear programme in
the Zoo, or at least Giovanna could stay on a bit until she was able to cope with
a mature bear.
