Dear Bea, since we spoke last evening, I was of course very curious to see your report from your trip from Germany to Belgium and as I said, you know these little lovely villages along the Belgian/German border much better than me. And believe me, they are indeed very charming, and not onlu for the landscape, the hares and foxes, but also for the delicious food; isn't it. When I saw your pics of the Benedicter Abbaye, I immediately had to think about the great beers these abbayes were and still are brewing. Delicious and strong and to be consumed in a moderate manner to enjoy "het engeltje dat op je tong pist". Every time when I read your reports and see your pics with regard to the "border villages and environmnets", I regret that I do not have a car, because visiting them with using public transport is time-consuming and quite challenging. Well, maybe, one day, I can convince my neighour for such a trip.
By the way, today started very sunny and warm, but now it seems that dark clouds are approaching very fast. AIAIAIAI, that means that we might have rain this evening. DEEP SIGH!
